Heiwa Hatsujo Industry manufactures fastener accessories, including several patented products such as PS lock washers and disc springs for bolts with hexagonal sockets. The company also gave away its process patent for spring washers in order to help spur growth in the fastener industry. Heiwa Hatsujo has top share in the domestic Japanese bearing market, where it offers products such as NR snap rings and crown retainers that feature independently-developed technologies applied all the way from the design phase through the pressing and heat treatment processes.
