Heat Resistant Alarm Cables
Fire alarm cables are used for applications such as fire protection equipment and alarm wiring. Cables for low power circuits using 60 V or less that do not require heat resistance are used for the wiring of devices such as interphone circuits, display wiring, bell wiring and earth leakage fire alarms. Flame-retardant cables with fire spread prevention properties do not generate much smoke in a fire and are used mainly for halogen-free eco-cables that do not generate toxic gases such as hydrogen halide gas or corrosive gas. Each type has heat-resistant layers and insulators coated with cross-linked polyethylene or heat-resistant polyethylene sheaths. A wide range of products are available that make work safer and easier, including types that enable open wiring through a staple stop method, and types with color-coded core wire identification to prevent miswiring.
